My fam is pretty lit. I live in a house with 5 other people; my dad, Troy, my mom, Michelle, my three brothers, Kellen, Connor, and Chase. My dad is 46, and mom turned 47 on April 24th, (I was supposed to be born on my mom’s birthday, but I was already like 10 pounds by then and my mom couldn’t handle me anymore). Kellen is 27, Connor is 23, Chase is 18, and I am 15. I turned 15 April 17th. I also have a pictus catfish and an 18 year old cat. I went through so much trouble trying to get my fishy because all of the pet stores didn’t have that kind of fish. I named him Flash because he swims very fast. Flash is so cute. He is grey with black spots and his whiskers are longer than his own body.
Someone who doesn’t live in my house with me that it very special to me is my grandpa. I call him Papa. When I was born, he was in Arizona at the time. He took a 3 day bus back to Ohio just to see his granddaughter. Ever since then, he has always been there for me. He has spoiled me so much; he gets me whatever I want, he’ll go through anything for me. He is a little crazy but I’ve had so many hilarious and wonderful moments with him and I am so grateful he is in my life.
Someone who isn’t related to me but I still see as family is my fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Harrington. I have not seen her in 5 or so years. In fact, I went over to the elementary school she works at today (April 18th) to invite her to my Top 15 banquet as a teacher who has made a big impact on my life. She wasn’t at the school, but I was only writing her a note and I was nearly in tears. She has impacted me so much and I’m not even sure what it is about her that makes her that way. Maybe it was her warming aura that brightened your day, or maybe the way she cared so much about each and every person, whether they felt the same way or not. All I know is that she will forever and always be my favorite teacher I’ve ever had and no one will ever take her place.
